Refund Policy

At Famedia LLC d/b/a Tap-In, we stand behind what we sell. This policy covers refunds and returns for the Tap-In keychain purchased through thetapinapp.net and any future paid features of the Tap-In iOS application.

Our Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your Tap-In keychain for any reason, you may return it within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund of the item price.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date

  • In its original condition — undamaged and, where possible, in original packaging

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation email or order number)

Items that are damaged due to misuse, lost in transit on their way back to us, or returned outside the 30-day window are not eligible for a refund.

What We Refund

We refund the full item price. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect or fulfillment error on our part.

How to Start a Return

Email us at info@thetapinapp.net with the subject line “Return Request” and include:

  1. Your full name

  2. Your order number

  3. The email address used at checkout

  4. A brief reason for the return

We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions. Do not ship items back without receiving return instructions first, as we cannot guarantee processing for unsolicited returns.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you by email. If your return is approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your card issuer or bank.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your keychain arrives damaged or defective, contact us at info@thetapinapp.net within 7 days of delivery with a description and photo of the issue. We will replace the item or issue a full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping if applicable.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, contact us and we will do our best to assist. We are not liable for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

iOS Application

Current App Pricing

If we introduce paid features, premium tiers, or subscriptions within the Tap-In app in the future, refund and cancellation terms will be governed by the platform through which the purchase is made:

  • App Store (Apple): Any in-app purchases or subscriptions made through the Apple App Store are managed entirely by Apple. Famedia LLC does not have the ability to process refunds for App Store purchases. To request a refund or cancel a subscription, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or follow Apple’s instructions at support.apple.com/billing. Please note that uninstalling the Tap-In app does not automatically cancel any active subscription — you must cancel through your Apple ID settings.

  • Direct purchases (if applicable): If any future purchases are made directly through thetapinapp.net rather than through the App Store, those refunds will be handled by us directly. Contact info@thetapinapp.net within 30 days of purchase with your order details.

Future Paid Features or Subscriptions

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control. Once your order is transferred to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.

Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please initiate a return for a refund and place a new order.

Sale Items

Items purchased during a promotional sale or with a discount code are eligible for return under the same conditions as full-price items unless the promotion explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
